The MD600X handles hollow-stem auger, continuous-flight auger, rotary, and diamond-core drilling in a single track-mounted platform — reaching depths up to 1,600 ft. An eight-speed rotation head and variable-displacement motor put full torque and speed on tap, while an integrated engine-leveling system keeps the rig drilling on grades up to 45°.

An integrated engine-leveling mechanism supports continuous operation on slopes up to 45°. Dual mast-raising cylinders and an audible raise/lower alarm make angled setups routine, not risky.
The slide base repositions the mast in/out and side-to-side without retramming. A dual-stage, swing-out rod clamp handles the full range of rod sizes with a clean breakout.
A full winch package, remote carrier winch, automatic SPT hammer, and on-board rod and auger racks keep tooling, samples, and casing moving without extra equipment on site.
Triplex piston pump — 40 GPM at 735 PSI — for full-power drilling fluid circulation, plus an onboard progressive cavity pump — 40 GPM at 250 PSI — dedicated to grouting.
Factory-integrated JDLink telematics puts engine health, fault codes, and location in front of the dealer network — maximizing dealer support and reducing downtime.
Frame and mast are built from J2-grade steel, rated to hold toughness and weld integrity in cold-weather temperatures and shock loads without cracking.
Proportional rotation-head and feed levers give fine control at the panel. The wireless remote extends tramming, carrier winch, engine start/stop, throttle, and horn control to the operator's position.
Our first MD600X went to work on a geotechnical crew in Pennsylvania — through frozen fields, transmission-tower foundations, and steel-yard test borings. Everything that job taught us shaped the rig that followed.
